B.A. (Honours) from Trent University and BEd. from Queen's University. OCT Certified. Primary - Junior Teacher. 

During my years in the Concurrent Education Program through Queens and Trent University, I have had the pleasure of being a student teacher for different schools and grade levels within the Toronto District School Board. After graduation, I taught at The Academy for Gifted Children - P.A.C.E., a private school for gifted children, for three years. Through my experiences I have learned a lot about diversity, inclusivity, and the growth mindset. My concentration in teachers’ college: Learning outside the Classroom and my internship at the Royal Ontario Museum allowed me to see how teachers can extend the material students learn to the world beyond. By implementing a more hands-on approach to learning, I have seen students’ interest rise and passions develop. I look forward to learning and growing with my students through the learning experiences I may plan for them.
